Mt Baker from Raptors Knoll Disc Golf Park

Raptors Knoll Disc Golf Park

The Jackman Wetlands Disc Golf Society (JWDGS) is a registered non-profit society and developed Raptors Knoll Disc Golf Park on the 43 acre, former municipal landfill site, that was decommissioned in 1989.  In the Spring of 2018 the JWDGS entered into a land lease agreement and partnership with the Township of Langley to build and maintain a championship-level disc golf course.

This disc golf park was built by volunteers with generous financial support from an initial group of 55 founding members, eighteen hole sponsors, and a large number of corporate donations including The Township of Langley, Operators Training School, and LafargeHolcim.  In the summer of 2020, the JWDGS received a grant in the amount of $70,000 from the Co-op Community Spaces Funding Program to fund a post and timber pavilion that will be built by Artisan Log and Timber Homes in early 2021.

Raptors Knoll Disc Golf park was designed by Stewart McIsack and Chris Hartmann of INdesign Disc Golf.

The current Board of Directors of JWDGS are:

Chris Hartmann - President

Stewart McIsack - Vice President

Michael van Elburg - Treasurer

Deanna Hunter - Membership Chair

Scott "Skippy" Doan - Member At Large

Peter Matthews will assume Treasurer Director position on February 1, 2024
